The MI2 Forever Foundation is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to the memory of Michael K. Ingram II, a person who was a positive
influence and inspired so many people at such a young age. In his name, we want
to continue to influence and inspire young people to live their dream and
strive to be the best version of their self that they can be.
Our mission to is sponsor low income school
students and young athletes by providing support for life and school events,
school supplies, athletic supplies, transportation to and from events and
mentoring.
Michael K. Ingram II, AKA MI2, passed away on Thursday November 25, 2010 at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia Pa. from injuries sustained in a car accident when he was hit by a drunk driver.
Before
his untimely death, Mike, attended Glasgow High School in Newark, Delaware
where he played basketball and baseball all four years and graduated with
honors. He was a member of the Glasgow High School state championship
basketball team. He attended the Univ. of Delaware for one semester before
transferring to Delaware State University to play on the DSU-Hornet baseball
team. Mike Graduated from DSU in December 2009 with a bachelors' degree in
Sports Management.
Michael
was highly loved and respected and will forever be remembered and loved by his
family, friends, classmates, teammates, co-workers and anyone who had the
pleasure of being in his presence even if only for a brief amount of time.
The MI2Forever Foundation is the legacy he started and the legacy we hope lives
on.
